Sunny at the ring. Did 3 early laps while the track was quiet, but it soon got busy and then an accident closed it for about an hour.
Because survival is insufficient

After a long ride in cold weather, heavy rain, and heavy traffic, the sun has finally come out. Hope it’s the same tomorrow so I can do a couple of laps. Stiff and tired after the first real day of riding since finishing the original round the world trip 18 months ago. The good news is that the beemer, even fully loaded with luggage, can happily cruise along a good 20 or 30 mph faster than the xt, which helps when you’re on the autobahn surrounded by 120 mph audis.
Nice weather, calm seas, a little luxury and complimentary red wine in the commodore de luxe lounge.
It’s a bit cold and wet, but I’m warm and dry thanks to heated gloves and jacket. Bike started, glad I disconnected the wiring for the cameras and gps etc, will have to work on that later.
